Summary of Requirements
A licensed physician must oversee AED compliance, and users should receive AED/CPR training. AED acquirers must notify emergency services about the AED's location. The AED must be maintained according to manufacturer guidelines, and any clinical use must be reported to the licensed physician or authorized supervisor.

Notification of Use | Any person who renders emergency care or treatment on a person in sudden cardiac arrest by using an automated external defibrillator must activate the emergency medical services system as soon as possible and report any clinical use of the automated external defibrillator to the licensed physician or other person authorized by the composite board who is supervising the program. |
