Summary of Requirements
No specific legislation for physicians. Anticipated AED users need CPR/AED training from a recognized organization. AEDs must be registered with a local EMS hospital for oversight, training, and maintenance compliance. Notify local emergency communications about AEDs. Maintain and test AEDs as per manufacturer guidelines. In case of out-of-hospital emergency use, activate EMS and report AED usage.
